When thinking about the future, how far does your mind wander?  Most of us probably spend little time thinking about what will happen when we are gone, but it can be a useful exercise especially if there are charities close to your heart, whose vision and work you care about.  

This month is Free Wills Month so it's a good time to think about creating or updating your will and part of that, alongside looking after your family and friends, might include considering leaving something to a charity or a number of causes that are important to you.  In the UK legacy giving has almost doubled in the last decade, showing that many people are choosing to make a statement about what they value as part of their legacy planning. The benefits for the charity sector are significant.
