Job Description

Punchdrunk Enrichment is looking for two performers to take part in a week-long Research and Development workshop focused on devising an adaptable narrative structure and moulding character. This is part of the development process for a new immersive show for children aged 7-11 that celebrates the power of storytelling as a driver for change.

The roles we are casting for are:

  • Actor 1: playing age 40-50. A guardian of the community and the audience's soundboard.
  • Actor 2: playing 25-35. Technically an adult, but not grown up yet. A lovable fool.

Candidates will have a experience of devised work and a passion for creating theatre for young audiences.

As part of our commitment to our home in North West London, this opportunity is only available to performers with a strong connection to the borough of Brent. You may be born and bred, or have found your home here later in life. Alternatively you may have worked in the area or with the community for an extended period of time. Alongside submissions, please outline your/your client’s connection to Brent.

Please note, applicants must be available to audition on Tuesday 25th March. The workshop takes place between Monday 31st March - Friday 4th April 2025 at Punchdrunk Enrichment Stores in Wembley Park.
